The following links and ideas for research have all been used during my search. Many of these ideas were E-mailed to me and I'd like to thank anyone who has help re-unite my family !

The Anglo-German Family History Society  A uk based group for persons interested in the large influx of German persons into the UK, particularly in the late 19 Century.

Cindi's list of genealogy sites  A brilliant source of links and ideas ! I used this one myself and found it great ! It has links for researching persons of almost any nationality. A truly complete list of genealogy links !

JewishGen The official home of Jewish genealogy A truly excellent site for those searching for families with a Jewish background. Lists, ideas, links, E-mail forums, really well put together !

Gerhard Bork's Homepages Gerhard does genealogical research and can trace birth certificates and so on. He is based in Harburg, near Hamburg, Germany. A very helpful guy to know !

A good place to start all genealogical research is the relevent countries Usenet Newsgroups and the groups such as :
 
alt.soc.culture.(various),
alt.soc.family-name,
soc.geneology.(various) and so on.
